  1. I think it’s really important that we can enjoy sex which is safe. The image you use to demonstrate sex-negative approaches to sexual health promotion shows a truly awful campaign which excludes so many people. For starters, not everyone wants to have monogamous relationships and it shouldn’t be the role of sexual health promotors to change this. Also, marriage can raise politics and religious aspects to which people do not want to become involved, or simply cannot be involved due to discriminatory legislation against lesbian, gay, bi and trans people.

    We need a message of safer sex which does not assume or judge: one which allows us to enjoy the sex we like to have in a way that protects us and our partners.
